Chas has been involved in Chicago theatre in various capacities for the past 25 years.  Working primarily as an actor and sound designer for many years, Chas has branched out more recently, and has been able to combine his love of DJing and music with theater. 

A long time ensemble member with the Factory Theater, Chas is the go to DJ for Factory Theater events and opening night parties.  Spinning tunes at venues such as Chief O’Neill’s Pub, The Abbey Pub, as well as the the theater itself.  He’s enjoyed the experience of doing events at the new Factory home in Rogers Park.

Additionally, he’s been contracted for events with the Steppenwolf Young Adults Program, Victory Gardens Theater, The Gift Theatre, Striding Lion Performance Group, and Wildclaw Theatre.  He performed at a number of events with Redmoon Theatre and their Redmoon for Hire wing. DJing their Lunatique and Boneshaker events in house, and also performing at the House of Blues, and the Modern Wing of the Art Institute among others in Chicago, and at Chapman Leonard Studios in Orlando, FL.  

As a sound designer, he’s worked with many companies throughout the years, including the aforementioned Factory Theater, Open Eye Productions, Infamous Commonwealth Theater, The Journeymen, Rivendell Theater and many more.  His work as both a sound designer and DJ could be heard at Navy Pier for Santa’s Arrival, Jammin’ with the Jellies, Navy Pier’s Really Big Halloween Party, Mix it ‘till Midnight, and at the Landshark Beer Garden.
